free visit of Kobra’s Murals
28 March 2019The visit is completely free and takes place thanks to the collaboration of the concessionaire company of the quarry Gualtiero Corsi srl.
On board the Jeep the participants of the excursion will be able to reach the Cava Gioia where the Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra has created his mural, a revisitation of the face of Michelangelo’s David, on one of the walls of the quarry. The work, 12 meters high by 20 meters wide, was painted by the artist from 15 to 19 May 2017 and inaugurated on 23 July of the same year.
The duration of the visit, including round-trip transportation, is approximately two hours.
Places are limited to 50 participants and it is therefore necessary to book by calling the Tourist Checkpoint in Viale XX Settembre (Stadio), Carrara, every day, from 8.30 to 12.30, at 0585/844136.
